Hilton Head Real Estate

At Bay Homes, complete customer satisfaction is our first priority. We understand that keeping our customers "warm and fuzzy" throughout the building process is essential to our success.

Our outstanding team of architects, designers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, installers and decorators have helped over 200 families build their own American Dream. Heading up this team are Kelly Cheek and Jodi Easton, two sisters who grew up learning the ropes in the construction business owned by their dad. They will guide you through the process, from the design of your new home and through the construction, assuring an end product that will be second to none. The stress of building your home is virtually eliminated.

You are cordially invited to visit our office in Hilton Head to meet Kelly and Jodi. They will lead you on an exciting journey, starting with an idea and ending with your dream becoming a reality.

Step 1 - Your Personal Consultation
This is the time when we get to know your needs and desires. We tour recently completed homes, along with homes that are still under construction. Budgets are determined, and then styles and features are the topic.

Step 2 - Selecting Your Home Site
Qualified Bay Homes’ personnel visit the proposed construction site. Information is gathered and reports are prepared on soil conditions, flood elevations, tree specimens, and elevation drawings. If you do not own a lot, then we coordinate a meeting with you and your realtor to find a suitable location.

Step 3 - Designing Your New Home
We believe that the builder must be intricately involved in the design and specification process. We can work with your designer, or introduce you to our award-winning architects and designers. Whether your ideas are just a sketch, a photo from a magazine, or complete detailed architectural drawings, we can take your ideas and create your dream home! We become your liaison to assist you step by step through the surveying, engineering, landscape planning, and architectural review processes.

Step 4 - Finalizing Your Dream
Based on all the previous steps, a final construction price is determined. Financing is finalized, the construction agreement is explained in detail, and your initial deposit is accepted.

Step 5 - Construction Begins on Your Home
All the necessary permits are secured and the site is cleared and prepared. Construction begins. Because of the temperate climate in the area, construction generally goes smoothly and rapidly. You will be kept informed throughout the construction phase, and you'll be able to monitor the progress as much or as little as you like with the Under Construction section of our site.
